Due to the need to clarify the results of the negotiation process on Ukraine's membership in the EU and to determine further prospects for 2025, the Foreign Policy Research Institute, with the assistance of the Directorate General for Rendering Services to Diplomatic Missions, is planning a roundtable discussion for foreign diplomatic missions, leading Ukrainian media and experts on the topic: ‘EU Enlargement Package and Ukraine's Progress’, which will take place on 15 November 2024, from 11:00 to 13:10, at the press centre of the Directorate General for Rendering Services to Diplomatic Missions at 6-a Pyrohova St.

The following conceptual issues will be discussed during the roundtable:

1. General assessment of the EU-Ukraine negotiations in 2024;

2. Negotiating delegation and challenges of its organisational support;

3. The cluster of fundamental issues and prospects for opening negotiations during the Polish EU presidency in 2025;

4. Assessment of Ukraine's progress in other negotiation clusters;

5. The EU's Foreign and Common Security and Defence Policy as the most promising area of Ukraine's European integration.
 

Working language: Ukrainian with simultaneous interpretation into English.
